Besides showcasing the most annoying VJ's in history (and thank GOD the occupational title "VJ" has fallen into vestigiality due to YouTube and indie music) "TRL" (itself a compete misnomer, as the show was as "live" as a Bush speech, just as "requested" and about as "Total." It was also about as original, relevant, and informed. Not to mention vestigial.) also CONSTANTLY showcasted the MOST unoriginal, boring, repetitive, mindless, racist, sexist, materialistic, egomaniacal, pointless, irrelevant, tone-deaf, unappealing, ugly, banal, commercialized, and EMPTY music that the human race EVER had the misfortune to be subjected to by every satelite in orbit. And I'm very glad that YouTube and the possibility of online music sales for talented indie musicians without a record contract from a faceless monster media conglomerate has also made the music showcased on "TRL" vestigial. GOOD fucking riddance. Thank GOD it’s over!
